“This year, the Florida Democratic Party is undertaking an effort to revise and modernize its Charter and Bylaws to help lay the foundation for victory in 2018, 2020 and beyond.
From May 6-May, a series of regional meetings will be held across the state to discuss our existing Party rules, and propose recommendations for a new State Democratic Party Charter and Bylaws.
The Tampa Bay regional hearing to solicit input about the Florida Democratic Party’s Charter & Bylaws Revision will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Temple Terrace Library located at 202 Bullard Pkwy, Temple Terrace, Fl. 33617.
All registered Florida Democrats are invited to attend the meeting to share their input about the Charter & Bylaws Revision with members of the committee.
In Addition to the public hearing, Democrats can send their comments and input to the Committee via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through a google doc here: Charter and Bylaws Feedback.
Please spread the information about the hearing to your DEC, clubs caucus chapters and related Democratic groups. We look forward to seeing Tampa Bay area Democrats at the Public Hearing. We want to give as many Democrats as possible the opportunity to provide input at this meeting.
If there are any questions, feel free to contact Jocelyn Dickman at Jocelyn.Dickman@gmail.com”
The email was signed by Jocelyn Dickman, Rick Boylan and Ione Townsend.
